Should I upgrade my browser?

Most problems/errors you experience on this site and others can be fixed by upgrading your browser. Web browser upgrades are free. Here are some links to help you get an updated version of your browser.

What browsers do you support?

We support many browsers, but recommend:

  • PC — Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 9 (or greater). We do not support IE8 and lower. For security purposes, we do not recommend you use it.
  • Mac — Safari (all versions), Firefox (all versions), and Chrome. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.
  • Mobile Devices — Safari, Chrome, Android Browser (4.0+), Internet Explorer, and Dolphin Browser.

My browser won't display the navigation drop down menus. What do I do?

We recommend upgrading your Web browser if you are having technical difficulties with the drop down menus. Regardless of which Web browser you use, you must enable JavaScript for the menus to function properly.

How do I manage (start/stop) my paper subscription online?

Navigate to the footer at the bottom of any page of the website. In the bottom menu, click the "Reader Services" link. A number of services are available for you on this page, including the ability to Start/Stop and Pay the Bill for your paper subscription. Take me there | I need more help

Where do I go to read news from "X" county?

On the bottom of every page, we have a map and list of the counties we cover. From the map or list, find the county you would like to see and click on it.

How do I find "X" story on your website?

The best way to quickly locate a story on our website is to use the search feature, located in the top center of each page underneath the main logo. If you know the name of the article or reporter who wrote the article, type it in the search field and click the magnifying glass. You can also access archives of our paper by clicking on the archives link on the bottom of any page.

How do I submit a classified ad?

Navigate to the top of this page. Click on the "Classifieds" link under the main navigation. On the Classifieds page, you'll see a "Place an Ad" link. Click on that link. Ads are pre-paid. We accept all major credit cards. You can view your ads as you go along the submitting process.
