ROCKWALL 67, LONGVIEW 52: ROCKWALL — Samuell Williamson scored 12 of his game-high 36 points in the first quarter, helping the Yellowjackets build a 22-11 lead en route to a 67-52 win over the Longview Lobos in District 11-6A action.

The Lobos fall to 4-4 with the loss. Rockwall improves to 5-3.

Williamson, who also had 13 rebounds in the contest, had 22 points at the half.

The Lobos were led by Jason Bush with 19 points. Phillip Washingtonadded 12, Jaylin Brown seven, Malik Henry five, Haynes King and Jerrian Lewis three apiece, Chase Glasper two and Jaiden Smith one.

The Lobos will host Mesquite on Friday.

SULPHUR SPRINGS 62, PINE TREE 41: League-leading Sulphur Springs built an 11-point halftime lead and earned a 62-41 win over the Pine Tree Pirates in District 16-5A action at The Pirate Center.

Isaiah Lawson had 12 points in the loss for Pine Tree, which dropped to 8-13 overall and 1-6 in district play.

Sulphur Springs moves to 24-3 and 7-0.

Pine Tree will visit Mount Pleasant on Friday.

MOUNT PLEASANT 62, HALLSVILLE 41: HALLSVILLE — Kevin Savage paced Mount Pleasant with 16 points, and the Tigers moved to 6-1 in District 16-5A play (21-5 overall) with a 62-41 win over Hallsville.

Jeremy Swalley had 15 points in the loss for Hallsville (14-15, 2-5). Shadd Berg and Cameron Bullock had seven points apiece, Ty Huff six, Kobe Hogan four and Rowdy Smith two.

Hallsville visits Greenville on Friday.

PALESTINE 50, TATUM 38: TATUM — The Palestine Wildcats used a big fourth quarter to pull away for a 50-38 win over Tatum in non-district action on Tuesday.

Jacob Davis had 11 points in the loss for Tatum, which trailed 33-32 heading into the final stanza. C.J. Vandre added seven points, JaKobe Mitchell six, OB Jones five points, seven rebounds and four assists, Jamuarie Wilson four points and eight rebounds, Kendon Sheffield three points and Jasyiah Smith two points.

Tatum returns to District 16-4A action on Friday at home against Carthage.

WHITE OAK 51, NEW DIANA 37; WHITE OAK — Andrew Hood scored 16 points, Stone Palmer recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and the White Oak Roughnecks moved to 7-1 in District 16-3A play (15-10 overall) with a 51-37 win over New Diana.

Kason Kienzle added two points and dished out five assists for the Roughnecks.

Braydon Rosales had 13 points and Ralph Callicott 10 in the loss for New Diana.

White Oak will host Jefferson and New Diana hosts Ore City on Friday.

JEFFERSON 66, HARLETON 17: JEFFERSON — Dee Mitchell scored 21 points to go along with five rebounds and six assists, and Jefferson held Harleton to single digits in all four quarters en route to a 66-17 District 16-3A win on Tuesday.

Eric Gipson added 11 for Jefferson (18-5, 8-0), which led 20-5 after one quarter and 34-7 at halftime. Kepha Luster added nine points, Taylor Smith eight points, six rebounds and seven steals, Kylan Thomas six points, Cameron Hicks and Lyrik Rawls four points apiece, Jordan Randle two and Curtis Henry one.

Jefferson will visit White Oak on Friday.

ELYSIAN FIELDS 59, ORE CITY 57: ELYSIAN FIELDS — The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets, led by Michael Ramirez's 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, four steals and two blocks, edged Ore City 59-57 in District 16-3A action.

Jade Ashalintubbi added 12 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks and two steals for Elysian Fields, now 7-13 overall and 5-3 in district play. Tyrese Hardamen chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, five steals and two blocks, Cole Myers eight points and six assists, Cade Shaffer and Chris Smith four points apiece and Ja'Darryl Jones two points.

The Yellowjackets will visit Beckville on Friday. Ore City visits New Diana.

BECKVILLE 60, WASKOM 50: WASKOM — The Beckville Bearcas used a 23-8 run after the half to take the lead for good and held on for a 60-50 win over Waskom in District 16-3A play.

Stephen Darden paced Beckville with 22 points. Taylor Hightower and Trey Lindsey added 11 points apiece, and Brannon Davis finished with eight.

Beckville (14-9, 6-2) will host Elysian Fields on Friday.

SABINE 60, CUMBERLAND 47: TYLER — Eylan Goodwyn recorded a double-double, Will Shawn just missed doing the same and the Sabine Cardinals earned a 60-47 win over Cumberland Academy on Tuesday in District 15-3A play.

Goodwyn finished with 26 points and 18 rebounds, and Shawn scored 19 points to go along with eight boards. Scottie Taylor had seven points, and T Taylor chipped in with two points, four assists and three steals.

Sabine moves to 18-6 overall and 6-1 in the district with the win.

TROUP 61, HARMONY 38: HARMONY — Cobie Hamilton and Jared Jackson scored 19 points apiece and combined for nine 3-pointers, leading the Troup Tigers to a 61-38 win over Harmony in District 15-3A play.

Hamilton knocked down six triples for the tigers, and Shane Thomas joined Hamilton and Jackson in double figures with 16 points.

Spencer Seahorn scored 13 points in the loss for Harmony, which also got six points from Chris McMillan, five apiece from Drew McNeel and Easton Blackstone, four from Cameron Helpenstill, three from Spencer Yates and two from Michael Settles.

Harmony visits West Rusk on Friday.

HUGHES SPRINGS 47, DEKALB 44: DEKALB — The Hughes Springs Mustangs improved to 19-7 overall and 6-2 in District 14-3A play with a 47-44 win over DeKalb.

Tradarian Craver paced the Mustangs with 15 points. Chandler King added 14, Brennan Dowell 12 and Markees Kemp, Bryce Johnston and Daulton Hall two apiece.

Alex Clark had 12 points and Sabastan Yandle 10 in the loss for DeKalb.

Hughes Springs will host Redwater on Friday.

BIG SANDY 73, HAWKINS 41: HAWKINS - Josiah Johnson poured in 31 points to go along with 13 rebounds and five assists, and the Big Sandy Wildcats improved to 16-5 overall and 4-0 in District 16-2A action with a 73-41 win over Hawkins.

Gabriel Lemons added 14 points and eight rebounds for Big Sandy, which outscored the Hawks (1-3) 41-22 in the middle quarters to take control of things. Jordan Oswalt finished with 12 points, and Joshua Shipman added six points and 11 rebounds.

Camron Taylor had 23 points in the loss for Hawkins, which also got six points from Everin Gipson and Tristian Garrett, five from Akim Richmond and one from Paeton Smith.

Big Sandy hosts Gary and Hawkins visits Union Grove on Friday.

AVINGER 62, FRUITVALE 38: FRUITVALE — Bryson Schubert led the way with 20 points, Jacolby Chism added 19 and the Avinter Indians notched a 62-38 win over Fruitvale in District 24-4A ation.

Jaeron Survia added 10 points, Chris Carr seven and Triston Clark six for the Indians, who will visit Bloomburg on Friday.

ALL SAINTS 57, ETCS 49: TYLER — All Saints pulled away in the second half to earn a 57-49 win over East Texas Christian School.

Andrew Brockway had 14 points, Matthew Vetter 10 and Garrett Oehlert and James Sawyer nine apiece for ETCS, which trailed by just three (29-26) at halftime. Larry Freeney added four points and Braden McCullum three.

CHS 76, GARLAND CHRISTIAN 66: Christian Heritage School moved into second place in the district race with a 76-66 win over Garland Christian.

Kenny Bradshaw paced CHS with 31 points. Nicholas Pitts added 20 points, and Hayden Upchurch finished with nine rebounds.

LATE MONDAY

CHS 68, INTERNATIONAL 16: Nick Pitts scored 14 points, Jake Barron was close behind with 13 and Christian Heritage School rolled to a 68-16 win over Dallas International on Monday.

Nathan Jones added nine points for the Sentinels, who also got eight points from Cedrick Kelly, five apiece from Kenny Bradshaw, Hayden Upchurch and Will Horne, four from Geoffrey Trauger and two apiece from Caeden Flournoy and Jacob Chamberlain.
