PINE TREE 3, GREENVILLE 1: Ariana Alba scored two goals and assisted another to lead the Pine Tree Lady Pirates to a 3-1 victory over Greenville at Pirate Stadium on Friday night.
Alba opened the scoring at the 27-minute mark of the first half off an assist from Brilee Moore.
After Greenville had tied the game, Alba dished out an assist to Sophie Fisher for a goal in the second half to give Pine Tree the lead in the 25th minute.
Alba completed the scoring three minutes later on an unassisted goal.
Pine Tree goalkeepers Abby Walker and Sarah Moore each played a half as the Lady Pirates improved to 4-10 on the season and to 1-2 in district play.
Pine Tree visits Hallsville on Tuesday.
The Pine Tree JV rolled to a 6-0 win over Greenville.
HENDERSON 2, SPRING HILL 0: HENDERSON — Lizmar Cibrian scored two unassisted goals, one in each half, as Henderson shut out Spring Hill, 2-0.
The goals gave Cibrian 21 goals on the season.
Goalkeeper Jailene Castaneda notched the shutout.
Henderson improves to 11-3-2 on the season and to 3-0 in district play.
The Lady Lions visit Kilgore on Tuesday.
LONGVIEW 1, NORTH MESQUITE 0: MESQUITE — Celeste Nunez found the back of the net on a feed from Mary Claire Henderson to break a scoreless second half tie and lift the Longview Lady Lobos to a 1-0 win over the North Mesquite Lady Stallions.
The victory improves Longview's overall ledger to 8-3-1 and evens their district mark at 2-2.
Mallory Parker was credited for the shutout in goal for Longview. Also cited for outstanding play included Abbey Warren, Tatyana Bauer and Allison VanBurkleo, who was playing in her first full game since an ACL injury.
Longview hosts John Tyler Tuesday.
The Lady Lobo JV stayed perfect on the year with a 1-0 shutout to move to 14-0 and 4-0, respectively.
LONGVIEW 1, NORTH MESQUITE 1: William Langston's first varsity goal tied the contest, and the Longview Lobos battled back for a 1-1 tie against North Mesquite on Friday in District 16-5A play.
North Mesquite opened the scoring with 13 minutes left in the first half. Langston's goal came 14 minutes into the second half off a cross from senior Carter Sorrells.
The Lobos pounded the net with shots, but the North Mesquite goalie came up big with seven saves in the second half — including a diving save in the final minute.
The Lobos (12-1-3, 3-0-1) will visit John Tyler on Tuesday.
The Lobo JV notched a 2-0 win on Friday.

GREENVILLE 3, PINE TREE 0: GREENVILLE — The Greenville Lions tallied three scores in the second half and toppled the Pine Tree Pirates 3-0 here Friday evening.
Pine Tree, which drops to 1-2 in District 16-5A and 8-3-1 overall, returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Hallsville.
The Pirate JV scored a 2-0 win in the preliminary match as Santiago Tapia managed both goals.
