In a match against Crown Colony, the Tyler-Longview PGA Junior Leaguers were victorious by one point and will advance to the Fab4 Playoffs on Saturday at Firewheel Golf Course in Garland.

The match score was 6½ to 5½ and a single par by Alex Egan and Cayden Phillips on the last hole made the difference.

Teams from Alpine Target Golf Center, Pinecrest Country Club, Oakhurst Golf Course and Holly Tree Country Club made up the East Texas League.

The Alpine Pacers were undefeated and won the regular season league. An all-star team was chosen for the playoffs.

There are 12 three-hole matches in an official match. Each three-hole match is called a FLAG and players may be substituted after each FLAG. The extra players act as cadies when they are not competing.

The captain of the all-star team is PGA professional Roy Pace and team members are Ben and Nathan Williams, Cayden Phillips, Mason Bradshaw, Kinley Pessel and Collin Small from Alpine Target Golf Center; Lauren Fisher and Hudson Parr from Pinecrest Country Club; Alex Agano from Holly Tree Country Club; and Kymbria Acy from Oakhurst Golf Course.
