ET Football: Lobos wrap first week in pads; Scrimmage details

Longview wrapped up its first week of fall practice Friday, the first day in pads. There were 210 players, including 67 freshmen, who reported to practice this week, according to head coach John King. Longview and Pine Tree varsity squads will scrimmage at 7 p.m., Friday at Lobo Stadium Cost of admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children with proceeds benefiting the Texas High School Coaches Association's "Our Day to Shine" program. The Longview and Pine Tree junior varsities will join Gladewater and Whitehouse for a scrimmage at 5 p.m., Friday at Jack V. Murphy Stadium in Gladewater.
